Coco Gauff at the net has been absolutely remarkable.

She has made it very uncomfortable for Muchova to hit clean passes.

Coco Gauff is willing to make the move forward and play bold tennis.

We know her for incredible skills from the back of the court but she keeps coming to the net and winning points.

    Quite extraordinary.

Coco Gauff responds to that imperious Muchova game with some strong serves of her own, moving into a 30-0 lead.

It becomes 40-0 as Gauff wins a volley, seeing off an attempted Muskova lob with a controlled overhead winner. And the hold to love with a lovely stunned drop shot!

That was Gauff's best game of the match so far.

    Heliovaara/Patten 2-1 Kokkinakis/Kovacevic*

Great Britain's Henry Patten and Finland's Harri Heliovaara are the joint world number ones in doubles and will retain that top ranking, regardless of the outcome of their Wimbledon campaign.

It's 2-1 on serve in the early stages of their men's doubles semi-final on Court One against Thanaski Kokkinakis of Australia and Aleksandar Kovacevic of the United States.

Coco Gauff, after a few misses, finally gets a smash right and is cheered loudly by the Centre Court crowd. Things are starting to get a bit more lively in the audience as we approach what could be an exciting climax.

Karolina Muchova looks to dampen the Gauff enthusiasm with a superb cross court serve, then bangs an ace down the centre line!

Some superb tennis on display, as you would expect.

    Leon Smith

Coco Gauff has weathered the storm.

Karolina Muchova has been the better player in the set but she has found herself at 3-3.

    It's that champion mentality again.

    *Muchova 6-2 1-6 3-3 Gauff

Coco Gauff clenches her fist as the net-cord helps her out, bouncing a Karolina Muchova forehand into the tramlines. The Czech could have moved 0-30 ahead there.

Muchova is starting to look a little frustrated for the first time - we are approaching the endgame, where every point truly counts. She runs the full gamut of emotions with a pumping fist following a lovely stretching volley at the net.

But Gauff finds her serve when it counts and holds. This is getting tense.

    Ask Me Anything

Why are there so many empty seats at Wimbledon this year

    Tony, Plymouth

One main reason is that spectators are only allowed to either leave or return to their seats for any reason when players change ends every two games.

This can lead to people being stuck for some time waiting to be allowed to re-enter the court.

We're also experiencing a heatwave. Some spectators therefore take spells away from their seats in order to seek shelter from the heat in shaded areas.

You just don't expect her to miss those kinds of volleys. Muchova generally has a tidy net game, she has good hands.

Karolina Muchova missed a simple volley to hand that previous game to Coco Gauff, she put her fingers to her forehead in annoyance. She will have to put missing such a regulation shot out of her mind quickly.

And she does, with another service hold to 15.

While Muchova is completing her holds quickly, every Gauff service game is a battle at the moment.

    *Muchova 6-2 1-6 2-2 Gauff

In 2019, Coco Gauff beat Venus Williams as a 15-year-old on her Wimbledon debut. That is still her biggest win at the Championships - but this would surely surpass that.

However she will have to work for it. A splendid cross-court winner from Muchova beats Gauff all ends up, the trajectory of the ball there was unreturnable.

After splaying one long, Gauff has suddenly given up two break points to Muchova. She saves the first as Muchova slips while trying to play a passing shot, and the second with an unreturnable serve.

No guff from Gauff, she manages to hold.

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live

I just think that Coco Gauff is playing the highest level I have seen from her in the tournament.

When it gets to the closing stages, I feel she will hold her nerve more than Karolina Muchova.

I'll be amazed if it isn't Gauff that ends up on top but there are a lot of points to play for before we find out.

I thought dress code for Wimbledon was 100% white clothing and yet many women seem to wear coloured underwear? Why is this allowed?

    Sally, Ringwood

Since 2023, female players at Wimbledon have been allowed to wear dark-coloured undershorts after the All England Club relaxed its all-white clothing rule to relieve a "potential source of anxiety" for players on their period.

Women and girls can now wear mid- or dark-coloured undershorts, provided they are no longer than their skirt.

Discussions took place with the WTA, clothing manufacturers and medical teams after players voiced concerns.

Karolina Muchova does not look too bothered by her missed opportunities, as she executes a regulation hold to 15.

She's looking to put all the emphasis on Gauff, who she knows is prone to an error or two.

That was a couple of drop shots that were two high from Gauff. Muchova needed to do more with the first and less with the second, weight for the ball to drop a little.

Two big opportunities missed for Muchova there.
