  5. 'Topsy-turvy'published at 15:54 BST

    Sierra 3-6 1-0 Gauff*

A bit of a topsy-turvy set really after such a quick start from Coco Gauff and then the break-back from Solana Sierra.

I would love to see Sierra just try to keep her ball shooting through the court a little bit more. It is an adjustment that you need to be quite conscious about making early on in the grass-court season, but it would be nice to see her keep it a bit lower especially when she goes into the forehand.

She actually does it quite naturally on the backhand when she steps through on the front leg with her backhand up the line. That's when it skids through and tests the forehand grip of Gauff.

  6. Sierra holdspublished at 15:54 BST

    Sierra 3-6 1-0 Gauff*

    Beautifully done by Solana Sierra.

After getting to advantage, Sierra sends Coco Gauff wide with her serve before whipping a backhand winner into the opposite corner.

Far from a routine hold but it gets Sierra on the board in the second set and prevents Gauff from winning a fourth successive game.

  7. Sinner holdspublished at 15:52 BST

    Sinner 7-6 (7-4) 7-5 (7-2) 4-2 Borges*

    Ace. Ace. 30-0.

Nuno Borges lights up the game with a scrambling backhand which nicks the outside of the tramline after just evading Jannik Sinner's reach but the Italian holds to 15.

  8. Deucepublished at 15:52 BST

    *Sierra 3-6 0-0 Gauff

    Solana Sierra saves the first.

Ohhhhh. Coco Gauff races to the net and looks perfectly placed to seal the break but she loses her footing ever so slightly and the ball drops short.

    How frustrating!

  9. 'Borges has kept Sinner alert'published at 15:51 BST

    *Sinner 7-6 (7-4) 7-5 (7-2) 3-2 Borges

    John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC One

Borges has done well, he's mixed things up and thrown a lot of different things at Sinner. He has kept Sinner alert.

He had his chances, but it has tilted heavily in Sinner's favour now.

  10. Break points Gauffpublished at 15:51 BST

    *Sierra 3-6 0-0 Gauff

Solana Sierra is back on serve and desperately needs to halt the growing momentum from the other side of the net.

It's not playing out that way, though, as Coco Gauff continues to grow in confidence and earns two break points.

  11. Borges holdspublished at 15:48 BST

    *Sinner 7-6 (7-4) 7-5 (7-2) 3-2 Borges

Nuno Borges remains in touching distance.

  12. 'Borges shows his disappointment'published at 15:48 BST

    *Sinner 7-6 (7-4) 7-5 (7-2) 3-2 Borges

    Annabel Croft
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live

Borges is quite emotional, isn't he? He has quite a nice disposition and a good bit of composure on the court, but he also shows his disappointment when things aren't going his way.

You can see why Jannik Sinner is able to pick up psychologically on things that aren't quite going Borges' way.

    Ah.

It's not as straightforward as it once looked as Solana Sierra picks up a couple of points.

But Coco Gauff gets the job done at the third attempt. The American is halfway there.

  18. Deucepublished at 15:45 BST

    Sinner 7-6 (7-4) 7-5 (7-2) 3-1 Borges*

Jannik Sinner's box applaud as Nuno Borges, back-pedalling, bats the Italian's return off his toes for a cross-court forehand winner. Borges remains expressionless. 15-all.

He doesn't contain his emotions for long, letting out a passionate "YES!" after burying a forehand for 40-30 before showing some frustration when one flies long.

  19. Gauff breakspublished at 15:44 BST

    Sierra 3-5 Gauff*

    And again!

On second serve, Solana Sierra goes to Coco Gauff's backhand and the Argentine scoops into the net.

Gauff will serve for the set.

Brazilian 24th seed Joao Fonseca didn't take long to wrap up the first set of his second-round match against Jesper de Jong on court three.

He will face Novak Djokovic in the fourth round - if both progress through the draw that far, of course.
