Image source, PA MediaRight, we're back in the action. A reminder that 18 frames is the finish line, so Wu Yize needs three more, Shaun Murphy four.
We have a maximum of six frames left. We have not had a final-frame decider in a Crucible final since Peter Ebdon beat Stephen Hendry in 2002.

I think if possible it should stay in Sheffield. You have all the signs of "Sheffield Loves Snooker" all over the place, not just the Crucible, it’s the city itself, and because of the commitment that they are showing to do this, I think it would be a bit cruel to take it away from Sheffield.
There was also a feature about the news that the World Championship will be staying at the Crucible until at least 2045.
There will be at least one year when the tournament will be played elsewhere while the Crucible is renovated - but where?
BBC Two
During the interval, John Virgo's daughter Brook Murrells has been speaking to BBC Two about the tributes to the late, great BBC commentator during this year's tournament. He would have loved this final and it doesn't quite feel the same without him.
John Parrott's selection is in...
Neil Robertson has won this year's Shot of the Championship for his inventive potted red against John Higgins in the quarter-finals.
Mark Allen's sensational semi-final snooker behind the black against Wu Yize was second, while Wu was third for an incredible plant in his second-round win against Mark Selby.

Both these players have provided a worthy spectacle for snooker fans. Whoever should win, from start to finish this final has been hugely entertaining. Wu has taken the game to another level, making possible impossible shots, Shaun has battled on - it's a shame it has to end tonight.

The longer this goes on, the closer it gets to the winning line, you are going to see the centuries will dry up a bit and it will be who will make the least amount of unforced errors.
You have to play on instinct and hope it serves you well.

The atmosphere inside the Crucible Theatre is electric.
We have been treated to some sensational attacking snooker in that mini-session and it feels like there is plenty more of that, and a bucketload of drama, to come.
Murphy 14-15 Wu (56-60)
Wu nudges back ahead. Will this frame prove costly for Murphy, who led 56-19 ahead only to then lose it 56-60 on the black?
It's the mid-session interval and there will be a lot on the Englishman's mind.
Murphy 14-14 Wu
Murphy goes for a long red into the green pocket, but it stays out and rolls along the other side of the table and stays over the pocket. Wu with a chance now to snatch a frame in which he was 56-19 behind.

Murphy 14-14 Wu
Both players have had chances to wrap up this frame, but Murphy decides to not take on a risky one and instead sticks the cue ball on the baulk cushion, holding a 56-19 lead with three reds left.

Wu misses red to corner
Wu can't capitalise. He looks stunned at missing a red into the corner and Murphy has now had two let-offs in this frame and still leads it 34-19.
Will that be pivotal?
Murphy 14-14 Wu
Wu gets no luck when going into the pack of reds and has to stop at eight. But he then slams in yet another superb long red so will be looking to finish it off at the second attempt, 34-9.

This is enthralling stuff and you can cut the tension in the Crucible with the bluntest of knives. Whoever can hold themselves together will come out on top. Shaun Murphy has started with some wonderful matchplay snooker, but Wu Yize seems to thrive when he is up against it. 18-17?

Murphy 14-14 Wu
Shaun Murphy, with hampered cueing over the reds, misses a pink into the middle and Wu has a chance to steal the frame from 34-0 down.

I think what he [Murphy] has got and it’s pretty basic is he has played well all season, so he’s got inner confidence in his game because he knows that he is playing well - and that means everything. If you're not confident in your game and you don't think you're playing well, you're not going to score or pot the ball.

These are the live world rankings before the outcome of this final is known...

Shaun Murphy will climb to second if he wins, while Wu Yize would go fourth if he wins. At the start of the tournament, Murphy was eighth and Wu was 10th.
The top 16 will be the same, albeit in a different order, as at the start of the tournament. That comes as only one of the qualifiers, Hossein Vafaei, won at the Crucible, but he would only go from 32nd to 28th. Judd Trump needs to get to August and then he would have been the world number one for two years successively.

It is relentless snooker from both players. It's easy to drop your head when behind but we haven't seen that.
