Seven-time world champion
Judd has plotted his own downfall in these last three frames. Since the interval, he should have won every frame and he's thrown all three away.

What a fabulous comeback. He's had help from his opponent but he's still had to do it.

An excellent final frame from Ding Junhui and what a brilliant session of snooker that was. He is very much in the match and it's all to play for tomorrow. A cracking match.
Trump 3-4 Vafaei
And just like that, Hossein Vafaei takes the lead for the first time with a break of 65.
This one is so tough to call. I was all ready to write about Judd Trump halting the Iranian's momentum around 10 minutes ago but a miscue from the former world champion let the 31-year-old in and he never looked back.
This is a gutsy, gutsy performance from 'The Prince of Persia'.
Zhao 9-7 Ding

Ding Junhui brings his A-game when it matters to keep himself into the contest.
A four-frame deficit would have left him facing an uphill struggle but a break of 69 in the last of the session has sliced Zhao Xintong's lead to two.
This one is far from over heading into tomorrow.

These end-of-session frames at the Crucible always seem massive.
Zhao 9-6 Ding
A far from fluent frame from Zhao Xintong, who is unable to compile a substantial break, but it's another which has gone his way.
The world champion collects 88 points unanswered to move three ahead of his fellow countryman.
Ding Junhui needs to dig deep now or this match could get away from him before tomorrow's final session.

Go Vafaei! I saw him play on Tuesday and dashed round to the stage door afterwards to meet him. He was lovely, friendly and patient. A great ambassador for the sport, a great player - and a nice person.

Well, well, well. We're all squared up.
And it all comes from a Judd Trump miss again, this time on the red.
Hossein Vafaei is playing some top level snooker and capitalising on every opportunity that comes his way so far.
A 66 break gets him on his way to the frame win and ties the contest up.

That is exactly what was needed from Ding Junhui because the match was getting away from him. He could have put the frame away earlier but he get over the line.

Ding wins the frame to close the gap
Ding Junhui with the perfect response.
The 39-year-old disrupts the pack and is able to milk the black en route to a break of 69.
He misses a red which would have left Zhao Xintong needing snookers and a safety exchange follows after the world champion edges up to 15.
However, Ding manages to graft his way to 84 points and Zhao is happy to concede the frame.

That felt like a big visit from Hossein Vafaei. It was a chance that he thought maybe would never arrive when Judd Trump was poised to take the frame.
How often do you see those [the missed black] from the world number one?
Trump 3-2 Vafaei
It looked like another frame that had gotten away from Hossein Vafaei but a missed black from Judd Trump allowed him in and he punished the former world champion.
A 57 clearance from 'The Prince of Persia' gets him right back in the game.

A break of 87 secures the 13th frame and he now has a three-frame advantage over Ding Junhui.
Ding is going to have to rally pretty soon or this match could be over in a flash.

When you come up against someone like Judd Trump, one of the most dominant players on the World Snooker Tour, you expect them to turn up every time and the only way to possibly get under their skin, and even then it is not guaranteed, is to put them under as much pressure early on and plant the seed of doubt.
Zhao 7-5 Ding
John Parrott
1991 world champion on BBC Two
It's a very dangerous session coming up for Ding Junhui because Zhao Xintong is just starting to bubble up. Ding hasn't been in full flow with his game and has let the cue ball go awry a few times.
Trump 3-1 Vafaei

No re-rack drama this time, just a nice clean frame for Judd Trump to extend his lead into the mid-session interval.
He's performing well but he's definitely got another gear in him.
Hossein Vafaei may need to change his approach after the break. The Iranian is clearly looking to disrupt Trump with a slower game but it hasn't worked as to yet.
Still searching for a century in the games I'm across today.
Maybe it's me?
Zhao 7-5 Ding

Zhao Xintong establishes a two-frame lead heading into the mid-session interval.
Ding Junhui compiles break of 43 to go 56-25 up in the 12th frame but rues his lack of cue-ball control with the frame seemingly within his grasp.
Inevitably fellow countryman Zhao makes him pay. Once the world champion gets into his stride there is no stopping him as he coolly builds a break of 39 to seal the frame.
Zhao had left himself with a tricky brown on the cushion but once that was cut in he sunk the blue and pink with ease.

We've seen a lot of balls missed to these middle pockets throughout this championship so far and again it just illustrates how tight they are on these championship tables.
