    FT: Ireland 54-5 Scotand

Ireland Head Coach Scott Bemand speaking to BBC Sport NI:

The first half was the best version of us and we were excellent. Scotland made things more difficult for us in the second half but we showed what we are made of today.

We talk a lot of momentum and we have done that this year and we are looking forward to the Global Series in the summer to keep building.

Today was a special day to play in front of such a big crowd and next year we want to get closer to England and France. We want to keep building for the grassroots game in Ireland too.

    FT: Ireland 54-5 Scotland

Scotland captain Helen Nelson speaking to BBC Sport NI:

It has been a tough campaign from us, there is no shying away from that. We knew today was going to be tough and credit to Ireland.

We were better after half-time but we are bitterly disappointed with that first half. We will learn from this going forward.

From the first team back in 1993 and every women since, we always want to leave the green jersey in a better place than we found it.

I want to thank every person who has supported us today and throughout the campaign. I am so proud to lead this team.

    Ireland 54-5 Scotland

What a wonderful day at the Aviva Stadium for Ireland . A bumper crowd were treated to a scintillating first half and, while the second half was a more even affair, it has still been an historic day in every way.

Scott Bemand targeted three wins out of three at home in this year's Six Nations and they did that in style to seal third place.

    Jana McCabe

It has been a really commendable second-half display from Scotland.

They have closed Ireland down in the second half, even though the damage was done by a ruthless home side in the opening period.

We have eight minutes remaining and Scotland are yet to enter the Ireland 22. That stat is indicative of how things have gone at the Aviva Stadium today.

  18. Postpublished at 16:07 BST

    Ireland 54-0 Scotland

Another Ireland spillage as they drop the ball five metres from the line. Scotland try to run it from deep but they concede a ruck penalty on their own 22.

Their defence has been much tighter in the second half but they certainly are not helping themselves with penalties like that. Can Ireland capitalise?

  19. Postpublished at 16:02 BST

    Ireland 54-0 Scotland

It may be much changed but the Ireland scrum is still dominating and they win another set piece penalty.

Dannah O'Brien puts another inch-perfect kick into the corner but there is a knock on in the maul.

The second half has certainly been a lot scrappier.

Niamh Gallagher is off the bench in the backline and she makes ground before offloading to Stacey Flood. However, the Ireland full back knocks on and that is a Scotland scrum inside their own 22.
