A Kyle Steyn-inspired Glasgow Warriors fought their way into the semi-final of the United Rugby Championship after a stiff test at Scotstoun against the underdogs from Connacht.
Glasgow won an enthralling quarter-final by five tries to three, the on-fire Steyn getting two of them in a performance of pure class in attack and defence.
Not only did he cross twice but he also prevented a certain Connacht score in the first half with a lung-busting effort that brought Scotstoun to its feet.

Glasgow Warriors wing Kyle Steyn tells Premier Sports: "I was really proud of the boys, especially the first 50 minutes.
"Our big men around breakdown were awesome. We let them get to our line a little bit cheaply but once we were there, I thought the physicality we put in was unreal.
"Just a big shift all round."
Centre Stafford McDowall adds: "They're a proud team, and a team we've got a lot of respect for. That's a big one for us."
It's another well worked try and Dan Lancaster throws a beauty of a long pass out wide to Steyn who goes over in the corner for his second try of the night.

Jare Oguntibeju, CON Horne
Play is kind of meandering around the Connacht 22 until substitute Jare Oguntibeju spots a gap around the fringes and breaks through to score.
The big lock is known for his grunt work in contact rather than bursting through gaps and seeing him in full flight reminds me of the legendary Bill McLaren's "mad giraffe" description of the equally legendary Doddie Weir.
The Irish side had a good few goes at the line and their fans behind the posts cheered a couple of times so it seemed like they were close, and Dave Heffernan is the man who finally breached the Warriors defence.
We'll have a delay to the conversion as one of the Connacht players is being removed on a stretcher. We hope he is ok.
Connacht look to go straight off the top with the line-out but when it's fired wide Jack Dempsey intervenes with a pretty blatant knock on. He sheepishly vacates the scene of the crime.
Connacht will kick for the corner. They need some points soon.
Glasgow put the squeeze on the Connacht scrum and are given penalty advantage.
From their it's vintage Warriors as the ball is moved slickly out the back and Josh McKay comes careering into the line to cut through the Connacht defence and score.
Connacht look to capitalise on the let-off of that try being disallowed and work their way into the Glasgow 22, but again the handling in the midfield lets them down and the ball is knocked forward.
As good as they have been in defence tonight, Connacht have been a little predictable and lacked a bit of accuracy in attack.
No it's not! The TMO spots a forward pass in the build-up.
It was a brilliant move that started with a searing Horne break and ended with Matt Fagerson blasting his way over, but the initial pass for Horne's break was clearly forward and the try correctly ruled out.
