"That was a real test match"published at 22:21 BST 25 April

Ireland head coach Scott Bemand speaking to BBC Sport:
"That was a real test match. France showed extreme physicality but we put them under pressure.
I think we learned a tough lesson tonight in not taking our points but I am so proud of the team. The girls have left everything out there but we will keep going after the finer margins.
"We have two massive home games to come and we can't wait play in front of our home fans".
France are proving they are a second-half team. It's the third Test now in which they've really shown up in the second half. I'm gutted for Ireland, because they poured their hearts in that game. We were dominant in the first half, we played all the possession. But you can have all those entries into the 22, but if you can't come away with tries, it does make it very hard and frustrating to keep going back. And when things aren't going your way - a knock-on at a ruck, held-up tries - it's very disheartening.
Lindsay Peat Former Ireland forward on BBC iPlayer
Absolutely gutted. It was probably a tale of two halves. Ireland played all the rugby in the first half. And unfortunately, looking at the visits to the 22, which I think were 12, they only scored one try. And then you see the French team take control of both possession and territory, and when you give a French team full of flair an physicality that type of possession, then they're going to punish you.
France win a penalty and Carla Arbez nudges into the corner. They are on the hunt for the bonus point with five minutes to go but they spill the ball in the maul and Ireland might be able to clear their lines.

Anais Grando
France go through the hands and that puts the home winger into the corner. That has been coming as there is only so much pressure the Irish defence can soak up.
Carla Arbez pushes the conversion wide but, with just over 10 minutes remaining, that has pushed France out to a two-score lead.
Goodness me some incredible handling from France. Ireland bend but don't break as Pauline Bourdon-Sansus puts a cross-field kick in aiming for Anais Grando but Anna McGann gets between her and the ball.
Anna Caplice Former Ireland international on BBC iPlayer
You can see the Ireland urgency to get the ball into Aoife Wafer just to get those carries. The momentum Ireland get off those carries means the France defence has to go backwards.
Eve Higgins makes a break but loses her footing as she gets through into space. Ireland keep the ball and work it wide left and Anna McGann is a stud's width in touch.
