Wigan just won't let off, will they?

If last year's thrashing of St Helens at Wembley, and subsequent treble, was them announcing themselves then this is on another level.

This is Denis Betts' side saying they've changed the game forever.

    You are just kidding me!

That was dead and buried on two occasions in that carry and it came to life and it came to life and it kept going.

The belief in this young lady is just that she can score from anywhere, do anything.

    That's some carry!

A good cover tackle by Bethan Dainton but I think everyone could see that it wasn't a try before the review!

More disappointment on what has been a day to forget for Saints.

Wigan have begun both halves of this final in storming fashion.

Here's Anna Davies kicking off the second period in style with a fine try.

For once Anna Davies doesn't get her handling right and a great chance for Wigan goes begging.

That move started with a brilliant run from deep by Kelsey Gentles.

    Hat-trick!

Eva Hunter bashes her way though tired Saints tackles to score her third try of the contest.

Such power, speed and determination to score - no-one was stopping her there!

The difference in attack between Wigan and Saints has been like night and day.

Isobel Rowe hits the woodwork with the kick - not that it matters too much.

  10. Wigan 38-6 St Helenspublished at 57 mins

It's just not working in attack for St Helens today.

There was a chance there as they moved the ball wide but it's far too slow and Wigan are well set and eventually the move ends with Warriors intercepting.

An injury break for a couple of Saints players now allows the teams to get some water on board.

Katie Mottershead and Faye Gaskin are being given some treatment but both look ok to continue.

Wigan are defending quickly and tackling quickly giving no space then attack moving to gain ground at EVERY opportunity in play. Whereas Saints are slow in pass, covering, making themselves available to pass to, taking the ball at walking pace making little ground and making their game harder.

    Wigan 38-6 St Helens

    Jay Freeman

There is a breeze at Wembley now which is not unwelcome.

It's very warm. Maybe not quite to the level we've seen in the past week or so, but it's uncomfortable just sitting watching this. It's impressive to see that Wigan haven't taken their foot off the gas as they race in for yet another try.

TRY: Wigan 38-6 St Helenspublished at 52 mins

    Grace Banks

    No such trouble for Wigan!

It's a simple numbers game as one pass takes out the bunched Saints backline allowing Grace Banks to sear through a yawning gap and go all the way to the line.

The confidence is flowing for Wigan and Saints are wilting.

Isabel Rowe can't add the extras this time.

  17. NO TRYpublished at 50 mins

    Wigan 34-6 St Helens

It's just the way the game is going for Saints as the try is not given.

Video ref Liam Rush had a few looks at it and says Hoyle-Holdsworth lost it as she reached to dot it down.

The knock-on ruling makes it doubly dispiriting for St Helens.

It's a brilliant effort from the Saints defenders but Anna Davies is gone and she's in and out.

    It's a perfect winger's try.

She's having a wow of a game, that's for sure. She just backs herself and it's a brilliant finish.
