The two out front are in a class of their own in this early phase. We'll see how their tyre choices play out with Antonelli on the medium and Norris on the soft.

A reminder that the current top three are on different tyres.

Leader Kimi Antonelli is on mediums, Lando Norris is on the soft tyre and Oscar Piastri has a set of hard tyres on his McLaren.

Franco Colapinto has also been given a drive-through penalty for his yellow flag infringement. So he joins Arvid Lindblad in being penalised.

Meanwhile on track, it's more spread out now than it was in yesterday's sprint race, that's for certain.

The achilles' heel of Kimi Antonelli's Formula 1 career so far has been his race start. After four weeks off to retrain his mind, it's almost as if he's perfected his craft.

Frantic bit of action then right from the restart and let me just say this - the absolute guts on Oscar Piastri to spot a gap and send his McLaren in front of a faltering George Russell.

That's a gutsy move. But his team-mate Lando Norris is pulling out a bit of a gap between the two.

  7. Postpublished at Lap 6/72

A drive through penalty for Arvid Lindblad in the aftermath of going through double yellows earlier flashes up right in the thick of that first (fifth) lap action.

Meanwhile Kimi Antonelli holds position into the sixth lap and has seven tenths on Lando Norris behind him.

Kimi Antonelli got it perfectly right. Lando Norris wasn't able to do anything about it. George Russell was slipping backwards. What a turnaround by Mercedes!

  9. Go! Go! Go!published at Lap 5/72

So, we've lost a few laps of racing, but we're back under way at Zandvoort!

Lando Norris goes to the right but so does Kimi Antonelli and the championship leader neatly guides his Mercedes in to turn one cleanly and takes the lead of this race!

Meanwhile, George Russell concedes position to Oscar Piastri after a monster move from the Australian and Russell then comes under pressure from Charles Leclerc behind!

This is one race lap effectively. It means you get one more lap to get tyre temperature in, dry out the track, most of the track looks very dry now. This Grand Prix looks like it's going to be much more interesting than it did on the first lap!

The race started almost 40 minutes ago and we've had one proper lap of racing.

  12. Another formation lappublished at 14:37 BST

Oliver Bearman has got out of his Haas and will no longer take part in the grand prix, by the looks of it.

That means that we'll need another formation lap.

Bearman's car has been collected rather swiftly mind.

  13. Team radio - Bearman to Haaspublished at 14:37 BST

Oliver Bearman: "My engine broke, everything's broke, everything's turned off."

Bearman is right next to a marshal recovery area, what they'll probably do is an extra formation lap but it looks like they can get him out of the way quite quickly.

Oliver Bearman has gone off in the lead-up to turn 11.

He's come to a halt by the right-hand side of the track and says over the radio that his engine's gone.

Is this going to interrupt the restart?

If Lindblad is penalised here, we could end the race with Lawson beating Verstappen and Tsunoda beating Lindblad. Who had that on their card at the start of the weekend?

With Zandvoort being on the seaside, you never know when the next shower is going to be. Is it going top dry up now or is there another shower on the way?

Oscar Piastri has got a brand new set of hard tyres on

  19. Formation lappublished at 14:34 BST

So there's a queue in the pit lane ready to get back out there and Lando Norris has a set of softs meanwhile the two Mercedes cars behind him are both going for mediums.

Charles Leclerc has softs on, Oscar Piastri's gone for hards and Lewis Hamilton's on softs.

We've had a considerable amount of time now so the conditions on the inside line might be better than they were on the first lap and it might have dried out.
