Luton Town defender Christ Makosso has joined French Ligue 1 club Auxerre for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old joined the Hatters from Belgian football in January 2025 and made 28 appearances.
He was loaned to Oxford United during the 2025-26 season, playing seven games for them - including six starts.
Makosso has won five international caps for Congo, having made his debut in 2022.

Luton Town midfielder Kasey Palmer says "there was nothing to sell" from boss Jack Wilshere to convince him to return to the Hatters.
The Jamaica international penned a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell last season that saw him score eight goals in 20 League One appearances.
"I'm buzzing to finally get it done, everyone knew where I stood last season with wanting to come back," Palmer told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"I believe in what the gaffer is doing. I believe in the staff and I believe we can get promoted this season, that's the reason I've come back."
But it is not just his ambitions for the team that drew him back to Kenilworth Road.
Palmer's family are based in Luton and the close proximity is something he enjoys after spending much of his career away from home.
"It helps being with my family," Palmer said.
"Just little things you take for granted, dropping the kids off at school, going to pick them back up, dinner all around the table. When I was away it was Facetime and trying to catch up and you've got a day off and you're rushing on the motorway.
"Stuff like that becomes mentally draining but that's the other side people don't really see."

Luton Town have announced the departure of forward Elijah Adebayo after more than five years at Kenilworth Road during which time he helped the Hatters win promotion to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old joined Luton from Walsall for an undisclosed fee in February 2021 and went on to make 184 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 47 goals.
Adebayo scored 10 goals in 27 Premier League games for Luton in the 2023-24 season but, after successive relegations into League One, the former Fulham youngster suffered serious injury setbacks.
A cruciate ligament injury sustained in April 2025 kept him out of action until March this year and a hip problem picked up in the second game of his return ended his season as Luton narrowly missed out on the League One play-offs.
Despite announcing he was in talks to sign a new contract when releasing their retained list in May,, external Luton have now confirmed Adebayo is leaving for pastures new.

Jack Wilshere is committed to Luton despite rival interest in the Hatters head coach.
Wilshere joined the League One side in October and has helped stabilise the club after back-to-back relegations, leading them to within a point of the play-offs following an end-of-season run of six wins in seven.
He also led the side to the EFL Trophy in his first season in charge.
It is understood Wilshere was approached by Leicester in recent weeks following the departure of Gary Rowett in the wake of the Foxes' demotion to League One.
But it is also understood Wilshere prefers to stay at Luton and continue the work he has started.
It is also believed that Wilshere did not want to take another job in League One.
