The warm weather has helped create a lively atmosphere, with pubs across north London doing a roaring trade ahead of the later Premier League kick-off.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is at the Emirates Stadium as a guest of Arsenal.

He was seen taking selfies with fans and chatting to the club's chief executive, Richard Garlick.

And whoever drops points today may be reminded that, in Jagger's words, they can't always get what they want.

Cole Palmer was back to his best in helping Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3 last weekend, scoring the winner in the 74th minute.

The England international has scored 49 goals in 98 Premier League games for Chelsea since joining from Manchester City for £40m in 2023.

Should he score against Arsenal, Palmer will become only the third Chelsea player to reach a half-century of Premier League goals in fewer than 100 games.

For Xabi Alonso, if we disregard the Real Madrid situation, that's the toughest job to have in world football.

Go back to Bayer Leverkusen when they went unbeaten, and they won the title for the first time in their history.

A lot of that was built around defensive solidity. In that season, for Leverkusen, they conceded 24 goals in 34 games. That was a foundation for who they were.

So far this season, they have faced the fewest shots (11) and shots on target (one) and have allowed opponents the lowest collective expected goals tally (0.54) of any side.

They are yet to concede a goal in three games, including the 3-0 Community Shield win against Manchester City.

Arsenal's defence is the best out there. They haven't even looked like conceding a goal yet but this Chelsea front three will test them.

Chelsea have found the net seven times to Arsenal's four but have conceded five fewer.

Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso, speaking to Sky Sports, says Levi Colwill is not in the starting XI as he has had "little things during the week".

On Moises Caicedo's absence: "He was close. But there is no point in taking a risk at this moment. We need to be cautious."

On his friendship with Mikel Arteta: "I'm looking forward to seeing him. But once the referee blows the whistle it's game on."

Manager Xabi Alonso was coy on the availability of midfielder Moises Caicedo, but Chelsea's team selection has confirmed his absence.

It is a blow for the Blues to be without one of their key players for such a difficult match at the Emirates Stadium.

Defender Levi Colwill is also only fit enough for the bench, with Josh Acheampong coming into the side in his place amid reports Colwill is managing a minor fitness issue.

Morgan Rogers is the man who sat top of Arsenal's summer transfer wishlist but he'll be playing at the Emirates in Chelsea blue today.

He's started life in west London in fine fashion after a £117m move from Aston Villa but today, he comes up the Premier League's best defence.
