Mauro Lustrinelli has made his own half-time substitution, bringing on Tim Skarke for Emmanuel Latte Lath.

Skarke is Union Berlin’s top goalscorer this season, with two goals to his name. The German has yet to start a match this season, coming off the bench now in all four of Union’s matches this season.

His impact off the bench however is undeniable, finding the net in stoppage time on two separate occasions.

They almost make it happen, as Jonathan Tah leaps to meet an inviting cross from Joshua Kimmich.

He angles a powerful header down towards the near post but is denied by a brilliant save from Frederik Ronnow in the Union goal, who gets a strong hand to keep the effort out.
