I have supported Chelsea since the 1970s, during which time there has been dark times, but this could potentially be the darkest if the ownership doesn’t see what is necessary to make this a winning team again!

Get Involved - 'Set up to fail from the start'published at 14:08 BST 20 April

Unfortunately, Liam Rosenior was set up to fail from the start. Under-qualified, inexperienced. Most Chelsea fans knew it wasn't going to work out and never gave him a chance. He couldn't turn it down and it's more proof the directors don't know what they're doing. Absolute mess at the back and stale up front is a recipe for disaster. I get more joy from watching Arsenal and Spurs lose than anything Chelsea related these days.

  8. 'I have made mistakes, I am going to make mistakes'published at 13:59 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on how club's "100%" backing is manifesting: "It's about being open. It's about seeing where I made mistakes, where we have made mistakes, where we need to improve and having open, honest and challenging conversations to make the process better.

"If you're not honest, you don't hold your hands up to mistakes, you're never going to improve.

"I have made mistakes, I am going to make mistakes, more mistakes. Every coach does. With the guys here, how they support me, we all want success for the club. The less mistakes the better.

"The players understand we are all aligned in what we want to achieve."

  9. No issues with Fofana following reaction to substitutionpublished at 13:54 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on Wesley Fofana's reaction to being substituted during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester United: "I have been sent two videos. One of Enzo [Fernandez] and it was cut before he shook my hand. I know how these things work.

"Wesley is a very emotional guy and he was just disappointed about losing the game. Could he have handled it better? Maybe, but the optics on that is not the reality.

"The reality is that I have got a really good group that are working really hard for me, for the staff and for the club.

"People read more into it than what it actually is. Wes apologised for his reaction, but these are young players that are going to make mistakes in the moment."

No issues in terms of selection for the game? "No."

  10. 'On my shoulders' - Rosenior on recent resultspublished at 13:53 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on keeping fans on side: "We have to win. That is what this club demands and rightfully so and that is what the fans expect. It is about winning football. That is what football is about. You can't speak about long-term if you aren't doing the job in the short-term.

"Being really respectfully honest here, we haven't done well in recent games and that is on my shoulders as the head coach of the team."

  11. 'If you start thinking about the repercussions, you're not focused on the game'published at 13:52 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on what should be his main focus: "It's not about where we finish, or teams below us, it's about our standards and our performances. We haven't won a game, we need to change that. If you start thinking about the repercussions, or the Champions League, you're not focused on what you are doing.

We need to focus on the game tomorrow. We have to focus on the way that we play. We have to make sure we win games of football."

  12. 'Massive week'published at 13:51 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on the week ahead: "It is a massive week. It is what you are in football for. Key games. We have a huge game and then an FA Cup semi-final. That is why you are in football, but now is the time to deliver and that is what we have to work towards."

  13. 'The idea from day one is to win...but we aren't doing that'published at 13:50 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Liam Rosenior was asked to elaborate on the processes he has talked about at Chelsea and whether they should be 'parked' until the end of the season: "A process of how we work to win a game, how we train, how we deliver meetings. The process is to win every game that we play. You have a short-term process and a long-term process.

"The idea from day one is to win now, it's what the club demands but we aren't doing that. All of the noise and what all of the people are talking about, it is normal.

"The process for me now is to win a game against a very good team in Brighton."

  14. Rosenior's biggest challengespublished at 13:48 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Liam Rosenior on the biggest challenges he has faced since being appointed Chelsea head coach: "The biggest challenge for any manager coming in mid-season, you want to get to know your players as quickly as possible. You want to know technical things, what they are used to and their routines.

"You want to make sure you don't adapt things too much from what they're used to. That has been a challenge in terms of the amount of games we have played and the training sessions we have had.

"You also need to make sure they have an understanding of what we want day in and day out.

"In terms of the results, they haven't been good recently, that is something we really need to overcome."

  15. Hurzeler 'doing a fantastic job'published at 13:45 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on the test posed by Brighton: "I watched it [their last game] live before our game and we have analysed that and many more. Fabian [Hurzeler] is doing a fantastic job."

On analysing Chelsea's recent games: "We do a lot of information gathering. We look at data and we analyse games, but a lot of it comes down to moments. Manchester United had one shot on target so we have to make sure in the key moments we keep the back door shot and give ourselves a chance by scoring the first goal of the game."

  16. 'Brave' Caicedo has values 'that will get success' - Roseniorpublished at 13:44 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on Moises Caicedo as a captain and signing a new deal: "Moi leads by example. I'm delighted he's committed his long-term future to the club. He is somebody that leads by example. He is brave, the way he takes the ball, the way he presses and fights for the team. They are all the values I believe will get you success."

  17. 'We have to address goals we are conceding'published at 13:43 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on what is easier to fix, scoring goals or keeping clean sheets: "I think if you want to win games you have to make sure you have clean sheets, that is the hallmark of every successful team. We have outstanding players that can score goals in crucial moments. It hasn't happened recently but what has disappointed me is the goals we have conceded.

"We can't win every game scoring two or three goals, but what we have to address quickly is the goals we are conceding."

  18. Rosenior says he has '100%' support from Chelsea ownerspublished at 13:41 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on whether he feels the owners have belief in him: "100%. They have been supportive of me and our daily conversations have been supportive.

"We know we want to win games of football in the now, but that doesn't go against the fact we want success and consistent success in the long-term."

  19. 'We've made it hard for ourselves'published at 13:40 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on defeats and how they are putting a top-five finish at risk: "We've made it hard for ourselves, we have to be realistic and honest. We can't give up, we have to keep fighting. We have to make sure we go to Brighton with similar attributes to what I saw against Manchester United, in terms of energy, intensity and engagement to the game, which was good, but we didn't keep a clean sheet and didn't take advantage of our chances [against Manchester United]. We need to be clinical and ruthless."

  20. 'Most important statistic is the resultpublished at 13:39 BST 20 April

Brighton v Chelsea (Tue, 20:00 BST)

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior on what his players need to do to turn things around: "As a coach you have to work to the data and to the process because you believe your process will work in the end.

"For now we need to win a game of football because that's what this club demands.

"The most important statistic is the result and we have to go after that tomorrow evening."
