  1. Aasgaard to be hooked?published at 17:35 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

There's not a lot going right for Thelo Aasgaard.

It's another simple pass, a 10-yard pass, straight to the opposition. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if McInnes took him off at half-time.

  2. Postpublished at 17:34 BST

    HJK Helsinki 0-0 Motherwell

Another good stop from Alex Paulsen.

There's a bit of a scramble inside the Motherwell box and Santeri Haarala manages to get his shot away, but the ball bobbles along the deck and the goalkeeper gathers.

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 Rangers

Thelo Aasgaard is the next Rangers player to look well off the pace.

A 10-yard pass in the middle of the park is hit straight at an opposition player.

    Dearie me.

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 Rangers

A switch ball from Dujon Sterling, looking for new signing Daisuke Yokota, is overhit by about 20 yards.

That sums up Rangers since their opener.

  5. Postpublished at 17:31 BST

    HJK Helsinki 0-0 Motherwell

HJK have a free-kick about 30 yards from the Motherwell goal.

The ball is delivered towards the back post, but it's an easy catch for Alex Paulsen in the visiting goal.

  6. Postpublished at 17:29 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 Rangers

A hydration break gives Rangers manager Derek McInnes a chance to pass on some fresh instructions to his side.

He will not be a happy man at all.

  7. Postpublished at 17:27 BST

    HJK Helsinki 0-0 Motherwell

Tawanda Maswanhise has gone to ground inside the HJK box.

The forward is claiming for a push, but the referee is having none of it.

This is a better spell from Motherwell.

  8. McInnes left ragingpublished at 17:25 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

I can't believe Thelo Aasgaard. Rangers have got control, there's space out on the right, but he tries an audacious flick and it doesn't come off.

They're then countered and punished in the space of four passes.

I watched Derek McInnes when that ball was given away and the manager is raging.

  9. Not clicking for Wellpublished at 17:25 BST

    HJK Helsinki 0-0 Motherwell

    Amy Canavan
BBC Sport Scotland at Bolt Arena

It's just not quite clicking for Motherwell yet. They have the look of a frontline who don't really know each other, and tbf, they don't yet.

No need to panic just yet, but a wee neat bit of link-up play wouldn't go amiss.

  10. goal

GOAL JAGIELLONIA BIALYSTOK 2-1 Rangerspublished at 17:24 BST

    Kajetan Szmyt

Disaster for Rangers...Kajetan Szmyt at the double!

Thelo Aasgaard gives the ball away on the edge of the home box, trying some sort of spinning pass or flick. The hosts then break at speed.

A low, fizzed cross falls for Nik Prelec to hammer goalward after Emmanuel Fernandez slips in the middle of the area.

The initial attempt is well saved by goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, but midfielder Szmyt follows in well to drive home his second of the evening.

  11. CLOSE!published at 17:23 BST

    HJK Helsinki 0-0 Motherwell

There hadn't been a huge amount to report from the opening 15 minutes in Helsinki, but the hosts have just had a wee flurry.

Leonel Montano plays a lovely backheel into Toivo Mero, who gives the ball back to his teammate, but Montano's shot is deflected behind for a corner.

It's a decent ball in, Motherwell clear but don't do enough and Alex Paulsen has to deny Montano's header from close range for another corner which the Well goalkeeper catches.

  12. Postpublished at 17:21 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 1-1 Rangers

Nik Prelec powers down the right-hand side, with Dujon Sterling hassling him every step of the way.

The Jagiellonia player is eventually muscled off the ball, but Sterling is penalised for a foul.

The hosts get a half chance after the ball is thumped into the box, but there's nothing doing ultimately.

  14. Poor goal to losepublished at 17:17 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 1-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

It's an incredibly poor goal to lose, it really is.

There didn't look to be any danger and the quality of the cross isn't all that good.

It goes under Manny Fernandez's foot and goes all the way into the bottom corner.

  15. goal

GOAL JAGIELLONIA BIALYSTOK 1-1 Rangerspublished at 17:16 BST

    Kajetan Szmyt

Rangers' lead does not last long - and it is a disaster for the visitors and a stroke of luck for the hosts.

Szmyt takes the ball out wide and cuts back and forward a few times, working an angle for himself to whip in a low cross through three Rangers players between him and the box.

It catches everyone out in the area and curls into the bottom corner.

Such a poor goal to concede after a strong start for Derek McInnes' side.

  16. Postpublished at 17:13 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 0-1 Rangers

    Excellent pressing from Youssef Chermiti.

Rangers give the ball away cheaply, but the number nine works well to regain possession and has a crack at goal from the edge of the area.

He'll be disappointed with the tame effort, though.

  17. Postpublished at 17:11 BST

    HJK Helsinki 0-0 Motherwell

HJK try another ball in behind the Well defence, but this one goes all the way out for a goal kick though.

Motherwell try to play out from the back, but the hosts are very aggressive in their pressing and win the ball back.

  18. YELLOW CARD Rommens (Rangers)published at 17:11 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 0-1 Rangers

Tuur Rommens picks up an early yellow for a fairly innocuous looking challenge just moments after the game restarts.

    Harsh on the Rangers left-back.

  19. What a start for Rangerspublished at 17:10 BST

    Jagiellonia Bialystok 0-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

Derek McInnes spoke before the game about getting in behind those wide areas to break the shape of Bialystok.

It was brilliant play from Diomande and Rommens, who for me is one of Rangers' best players. He gets down the left, puts a ball into a dangerous area.

I actually thought Chermiti should have made contact with the ball at the front post. What a start though.

  20. goal

GOAL Jagiellonia Bialystok 0-1 RANGERSpublished at 17:07 BST

    Guilherme Montoia (Own goal)

    And settle in they do.

Mohamed Diomande plays a cute reverse ball towards the byeline for Tuur Rommens, who drills it across goal.

It zips through a glut of bodies before one-time Norwich City full-back Guilherme Montoia can't sort his legs out and knocks it over his own line.

A disaster for him, a dream start for Rangers.
