Marie-Therese Hobinger was rushed into that strike. It's good last-ditch defending from Maya Le Tisser.

She rushes across and closes that window on how much time she has to shoot.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 86 mins

Re. Sarah at 15:08 - Most of those efforts have been tame, let's be honest.

Lovely Liverpool move with a dummy from Marie-Therese Hobinger to let the ball run for Mao Itamura.

She gives it back to Hobinger with a backheel but the resulting shot is too close to Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

Nice link-up between the Liverpool subs, though.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 85 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

The moment I say United look the likelier to score, they drop off and invite pressure from Liverpool.

Alice Bergstrom puts yet another ball into the box but Phallon Tullis-Joyce is out to claim it.

That's it for Bergstrom, she's replaced by Mia Enderby.

Medina got a yellow card for Man Utd earlier but can't see anything about getting it. Why did she get it?

    Anthony, Greenford

She was booked as she left the field when she was substituted.

We think it was for dissent.

  7. Postpublished at 83 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

Have Liverpool just run out of steam?

Manchester United have wrestled back control of this match and, at the moment, look likelier to score a second than concede an equaliser.

Way more shots on target for Liverpool. It's just a matter of time.

  9. 'Decent save'published at 15:08 BST

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Former England goalkeeper on BBC One

Elisabeth Terland gets it out of her feet really well but she doesn't get the right height.

It's good positioning from Khiara Keating and a decent save. It's one she would expect to make.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

That chance is Elisabeth Terland's last involvement.

    She's replaced by Lea Schuller.

  11. GOOD SAVE!published at 80 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

Khiara Kheating in called into action again.

A loose pass in the midfield leaves Liverpool exposed, the ball is threaded through for Elisabeth Terland but her shot is at a good height for the goalkeeper and is pushed away.

  12. Postpublished at 79 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

Man Utd win a corner. Another goal now will surely put this game to bed...

Well, probably, but Liverpool get this one clearly anyway.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 77 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

Liverpool make another change with Natalia Ramos replaced by fellow summer signing Mao Itamura.

A debut for the Japan under-20 international.

  14. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

Phallon Tullis-Joyce punches the free-kick away, Liverpool regain possession but the referee blows the whistle for a potential head injury to Elisabeth Terland.

The United striker is quickly up again but the medical staff have been called on so she'll have to head off for a minute to be checked.

  15. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

This is where Liverpool are really hampered by injuries.

Attacking players like Vivien Endemann and Aurelie Csillag would have been a huge help as they chase a goal.

Still, good feet from Natalia Ramos wins them a free-kick on the right.

  16. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

A first real opportunity from open play for Liverpool since half-time.

Beata Olsson plays the ball through for Alice Bergstrom, she races onto it but the first-time shot from the edge of the box is high and wide.

Liverpool should've scored - it's as simple as that. Jenna Clark should've at least tested Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

  18. CLOSE!published at 69 mins

    Manchester United 1-0 Liverpool

That is a massive chance and Jenna Clark has got to score!

The corner from the right is swung in, drops at the far post and Clark has got herself free but gets the header all wrong.

Instead of directing it at goal, she heads it back into the middle and United scramble the ball to safety.
