That was a mess. Beata Olsson just sneaks in and it is a wicked strike. Low and hard.

Gareth Taylor will be frustrated that Liverpool have not made the most with the chances that they have created.

Liverpool on the attack again now, United fail to deal with it and Beata Olsson is first to react.

She gets to the loose ball and her shot on the turn is well saved by Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

What a brilliant run from Jess Park. Liverpool back off.

What a strike from Park. It hits the crossbar...

Then Khiara Keating gets the perfect angle to make the goal small.

Nearly a brilliant goal from Jess Park!

Liverpool want a free-kick on the halfway line for a foul on Alejandra Bernabe but the referee waves play on.

Park drives forward, gets into the box and hammers a left-foot shot that cannons back off the bar.

It comes to Andrea Media and she thumps the shot towards the near post... superbly tipped around by Khiara Kheating!

For the first 10 minutes or so, it was all United. From 15 minutes to about the half hour mark, it was all Liverpool.

Now it all feels that much more even.

Lovely build-up play from Liverpool and again the ball goes right to Alice Bergstrom.

But this time the winger gets the cross all wrong. Goal-kick.

It didn't look like a handball. Cornelia Kapocs's arm was down by her side.

Manchester United are on the attack for the first time in a while and the fans are screaming for a penalty as a cross hits the arm of Cornelia Kapocs.

The full-back had her arm tucked into her body, though. No penalty.

If you're new to the WSL, don't pick on Maya le Tissier. You're not going to win, simple as that.

Yes, it is a new team, but I like the style of play that Eva Olid is playing at the moment.

Play is back under way and it looks like Andrea Medina is going to give it a go.

The Manchester United winger doesn't look particularly happy, though.

As a Man Utd fan, I would've loved to have seen a more out-and-out centre-back join in the summer to partner Le Tissier at the back, because Janssen and Bernal are not that.

Another concern for United as they try to hold onto their lead as Andrea Medina goes down and needs some treatment.

The break play is not bad thing for the home side but they won't want to lose such an important player.

Phallon Tullis-Joyce has the sun in her eyes, but she is reducing that space between her and her defence.

There's not a lot of room for Alice Bergstrom to swing that ball into.

Man Utd have got to do better. It is all coming down the right-hand-side for Liverpool.

Andrea Medina has to do a better job on Bergstrom.

It's Manchester United clinging on now!

Another tempting cross from Alice Bergstrom, United just about stop a Liverpool player getting a free header at the far post but it drops for Alejandra Bernabe.

Her volley is sliced wide, though, under pressure.

I'm impressed with Man Utd's pressure off the ball - that's one thing that Eva Olid has drilled into this side. Vast improvement from the first two games.
