He jinks between two PSG players and plays a lovely through ball for Patrick Dorgu, calling Ilya Zabarnyi into a last-gasp sliding tackle to cut out the chance.

Bryan Mbeumo leads a promising attack for United, but he picks the wrong option and pushes his pass for Amad Diallo too wide.

It has been a frustrating game for United so far.

Mason Mount had a good chat with Michael Carrick when he came off the pitch before heading to the dressing rooms.

The Manchester United head coach will clearly not want to take any chances with players a fortnight before the opening Premier League trip to Hull, but Mount's injury record is bound to bring concern.

He has been one of United's stand-out performers in pre-season and would likely have started at Hull.

United must hope it is purely a precaution and he is OK to face Leeds in Dublin on Wednesday.

Patrick Dorgu is again the most likely attacking outlet for United, but his cross from the left is spectacularly caught by Matvei Safonov.

One for a save for the cameras is Safonov.

The tempo has dropped for the first time, PSG are happy to keep the ball.

The excitable atmosphere in the stands in Gothenburg pre-match has evaporated rather.

Bad news for United - Mason Mount is not ok to continue after all, and is replaced in midfield by Tyler Fletcher.

United fans will hope Michael Carrick is just being cautious, rather than Mount being in any serious trouble.

Bryan Mbeumo fires the free kick towards the keeper's side, and it is a good height for Matvei Safonov to make the save for PSG.

Noussair Mazraoui is fouled on the edge of the PSG area - then has team mate Patrick Dorgu slam a shot into him from close range.

But the whistle has gone, and Man Utd have a free kick in a good area.

Both Mount and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are fit to continue.

He was up quickly after he was awarded the free-kick but was clearly still feeling it as play continued.

One to watch.

Ayden Heaven has not started this game well.

He gives the ball away in midfield, then hacks down Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. PSG play advantage, and the attack ends in Andrey Santos sliding to deflect a Senny Mayulu shot over the bar.

The referee then gives Heaven a booking for the bad tackle.

Patrick Dorgu seems to have the number of young PSG right back David Boly. The United left winger beats his man with ease, and sees a dangerous low cross hacked away.

Good tempo to this game so far.

Patrick Dorgu wins a free kick midway inside the PSG half, it is taken quickly and the ball is given away.

Manchester United were opened up far too easily for the opening goal.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia finds space where there is none and is drifting across the pitch.

This feels like a significant step up on what we have seen from Michael Carrick's side in pre-season so far.

A good response from United.

Amad Diallo plays Shea Lacey through, and the youngster does well to cut in a cross under pressure. Bryan Mbeumo is caught underneath it however and heads over the bar.

Well, it's good to be given a proper test in pre-season - and this looks like being a proper test for Manchester United.

This young PSG side looks to be full of quality and eagerness to impress.
