It's an interesting starting XI picked by Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi which includes midfielder Lucas Bergvall despite strong interest from Nottingham Forest and Newcastle.

The Sweden international has just returned for his first appearance since the World Cup and is keep to leave the North Londoners.

In addition, £100m midfielder Sandro Tonali is on the bench and Matheus Fernandes isn't in the squad due to load management.

What have you made of the summer transfer window so far, Spurs fans?

Tottenham have spent a club record £237m this summer and captain Micky van de Ven says that shows the club's ambition for the season.

Beusines began with bringing in midfielder Mateus Fernandes from West Ham for £85m before signing Sandro Tonali from Newcastle for £100m.

Jan Paul van Hecke, Van de Ven's Netherlands team-mate, has also joined from Brighton in a £52m deal, alongside the free transfers of experienced trio Marcos Senesi, Andrew Robertson and Martin Dubravka.

Some of those names are on the bench today.
