Mikel Arteta has again named a strong side for Arsenal's friendly in the Emirates Cup against Borussia Dortmund.

Martin Odegaard comes in for his first minutes of pre-season after returning from the World Cup and Gabriel Magalhaes starts at centre back.

There is however no place for new signing Bruno Guimaraes in the squad. The centre midfielder was announced as an Arsenal player on Saturday and is more likely to be available for the game against Como on Wednesday.

Starting XI: Arrizabalaga, White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly, Odegaard, Havertz, Dowman, Tzollis, Gyokeres

Subs: Hincapie, Jesus, Martinelli, Vieira, Nelson, Nwaneri, Setford, Meslier, Ibrahim, Kabia, Julienne, Ogunnaike, O'Neil, Salmon.

    Johor Darul Ta'zim 1-0 Chelsea

Chelsea's performance is lacking leadership and organisation.

It is a young side Xabi Alonso has named after his team beat AC Milan 3-0 yesterday.

Half-time is much needed for Alonso's team.

    Man City 2-1 Atletico Madrid

Time for a drinks break now.

Doesn't make much sense seen as though Atleti have just made loads of changes. Could've done it then.

Great to see Marmoush & Semenyo combining so well. Semenyo seems really clear in his key role under Enzo. Stay out wide and create the chances.

Oscar Arribas gets the better of Jamie Gittens, again...

He breaks into the Chelsea box, and shoots into the side netting. He will be annoyed with himself - he should have hit the target.

Around 15 minutes plus added time until half-time, but Johor Darul Ta'zim look the far better team.

Although Chelsea have had a bit of possession, they don't look threatening at all.

    Omar Marmoush (59 mins)

    So good.

Josko Gvardiol plays a beauty of a ball in behind for Antoine Semenyo to use his pace and power. He's able to square it for Omar Marmoush to tap in once again.
