It all happens far too easily. Brugts squares it and it's the simplest of finishes for Pajor, no one tracks her. Lyon shot themselves in the foot, they switched off defensively.

Pajor at the double gives Barcelona some room to breathe. Now Lyon have it all to do.

    Barcelona have daylight!

Claudia Pina gets a touch on Esmee Brugts' low cross but it drifts wide.

But Salma Paralluelo keeps the ball in play, cuts it back to Ewa Pajor, and the Polish striker smashes the ball past Christiane Endler.

After finishing all five of her previous five Champions League final appearances on the losing side, Pajor's double could finally earn her a winner's medal.

Could this be where Lyon's resilience so far in their Champions League campaign comes back to help them? They showed spirited second-leg performances against both VfL Wolfsburg and Arsenal to seal their place in this final. Can they do it again?

Barcelona make their first change of the day.

Oslo born winger Caroline Graham Hansen is replaced by Claudia Pina.

Graham Hansen returned from a thigh injury to play today. Out of contract this summer, that might be the last time we see her in a Barca shirt in the Champions League.

    Barcelona 1-0 Lyon

Pajor's goal is a historic one.

She becomes the first player to net in both legs of the quarter-finals, both legs of the semi-finals and in the final in the same edition of the Women's Champions League since the reformatting of the competition to a one leg final in 2009-10.

After a Lyon corner is cleared, Barcelona goalkeeper Cata Coll goes down requiring treatment.

There is a brief VAR check for a penalty, but it's cleared.

Barca defender Mapi Leon appeared to drag Ada Hegerberg to the ground. Nothing doing though.

    Rachel Brown-Finnis

The missing ingredient from Pajor in the first half was precision, she swiped at a couple and hit another over the bar. This was straight out of the textbook, low and hard across the keeper and into the sidenetting.

  18. Where could the game be won in the second half?published at 18:13 BST

    Barcelona 0-0 Lyon

    Steph Houghton
Former England captain on BBC Two at Stadion Ullevaal

Lyon are trying to play forward early in behind the Barcelona back line, Renard has played a few really good passes, but they've not been on the same wavelength. Their dribblers need to get on the ball more.

For Barcelona, you look at the likes of Bonmati, she could come on. Putellas hasn't got into the game as much as she would have liked to so if you bring on Bonmati does that bring the best out of her too?

Once again Hegerberg gets between the two central defenders and it's marginal [offside]. It's good centre forward play.
