The sides couldn't be separated for the majority of the contest at Balmoral Stadium and Georgia Carter scored the only goal of the game with just over an hour on the clock.

With just two games remaining of the bottom six campaign, Scott Booth's side are nine points behind Motherwell above them.

The Dons will now face a relegation play-off final match against the winning SWPL 2 team of the SWPL play-off semi-final.
