It looks absolutely terrifying - and it's right outside my hotel.

There are beaver statues on display on the streets of downtown Toronto, each representing the nations competing at the World Cup, while there is one special beaver representing all of the nations.

Some of the four-foot-tall rodents lurk under trees, while others peer through office tower windows or stand guard near busy roads.

This one is painted in the colours of reigning world champions Argentina.

I think a coffee and a quick raiding of the cupboards for a snack are in order at the break to keep me going - there's another game after this to think about as well.

Croatia could do with a little something to get them going as well.

It has been an entertaining game from Panama. Croatia haven't had that cutting edge Panama have been impressive going forward but haven't got that end product in the box.

Goalless at the break.

Panama will be happy with their performance so far. Croatia, not so much.

A shot on target at last!

Croatia's Martin Baturina takes aim from 25 yards and his low strike is turned around the post by Panama goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera.

The corner comes to nothing.

We're into three added minutes at the end of the first half.

Still no shots on target.

Into the last minute of the half and the Croatia fans suddenly get noisy, trying to encourage their team to finish the half strong.

Panama have been the better side but it's still goalless.

Can they find the goal their performance deserves before half-time?

Amir Murillo has got his dancing shoes on tonight.

Strong defending from Panama centre-back Jose Cordoba to deny Petar Musa at one end before Amir Murillo skins Josko Gvardiol at the other.

Murillo gets into the penalty area superbly but then seems unsure what to do, takes a touch too many and is dispossessed.

Croatia have been quite sloppy. They've lacked purpose with what they're trying to achieve here.

Croatia are causing themselves all sorts of problems.

They have a free-kick in the Panama half but take it short and lose possession.

The ball forward is overhit so Croatia can get men back to defend but Panama are still on the attack.

Marin Pongracic is having a bit of a stinker in the past couple of minutes.

After being caught on the ball moments ago, he now passes the ball straight out of play for a throw-in.

The Croatia fans are not impressed.

Important bit of defending from Mateo Kovacic to get back and stop Cristian Martinez bursting into the Croatia box.

It came after Croatia defender Marin Pongracic was caught in possession just inside his own half.

Croatia are moving the ball that bit quicker now but we're still waiting for the first shot on target of the match.

Luke Modric takes the free-kick but it is booted clear by Panama.

Croatia, looking to answer their manager's calls for a big improvement after the hydration break, win a free-kick in the right corner.

Good chance to get the ball into the box.

Luka Modric is 41 in September but he is still the main man as far as Croatia are concerned. Marshalling the midfield, a threat in the box, involved at every opportunity.

He has already had 29 touches, made 24 passes and had one attempt.
