Northampton Town have signed goalkeeper Zach Jeacock on a season-long loan from newly-promoted Championship side Lincoln City.

The 25-year-old has been with the Imps since the summer of 2024 and made 11 appearances in League One in a maiden season that included a short loan spell in the National League with Southend United.

The former England Under-19 keeper did not feature in Lincoln's title-winning campaign last term with his seven appearances all coming in cup competitions.

Jeacock signed a fresh three-year contract to stay with the Imps in November 2025 but will hope to get more first-team opportunities in League Two with the Cobblers next season.

"He is a goalkeeper with a lot of potential and someone who we think can do well for us, he is a keeper who is very technically able," Northampton boss Chris Hogg told the club website., external

"I know the club has a good record in developing goalkeepers over the years and we are sure Zach will prove an excellent addition for us."

Jeacock will fill the gap at the Cobblers left by the departure of Lee Burge after four years at the club.

He becomes Northampton's second signing of the summer following the arrival of striker Harvey Saunders.
