Aldershot Town have signed central defender Jack Matton on a season-long loan from Wycombe Wanderers, as well as bringing in goalkeeper Charlie Patmore.

Matton, 20, has made two senior appearances for the Chairboys, scoring on his debut in a 3-0 win against Gillingham in the EFL Trophy in November.

He made his League One debut on the final day of the 2025-26 season in a 3-2 home win over Rotherham United.

Matton has had previous loan spells in non-league with Bracknell Town, Hanwell Town and Tonbridge Angels.

New Shots boss Scott Davies, who had two spells at Wycombe himself, told the club website, external: "Jack is held in such high regard by his parent club so to get him on loan with us is a great bit of business.

"At 6ft 4in, Jack will be a real presence within our back line and I'm grateful to our friends at Wycombe for entrusting us with the next stage of his development."

Patmore, 23, arrives as a permanent signing, having most recently played for National League North outfit Bedford Town.

He has made more than 300 non-league appearances but will act as back-up to new first-choice keeper Nick Hayes.
