Tranmere made it back-to-back wins in the National League with a comfortable victory over Torquay at Prenton Park.
Torquay goalkeeper Vincent Dorel pulled off a fine double save after seven minutes, blocking Oliver Banks' strike from distance and then recovering to clear James Norwood's follow up with his legs as Tranmere laid down an early marker.
At the other end Scott Davies did well to claim Luke Young's driven low strike in a rare foray forward for Torquay, but the hosts broke the deadlock nine minutes before the interval with Connor Jennings flicking home Dylan Mottley-Henry's pin-point cross.
Norwood was dangerous throughout and his low cross set Andy Cook up for the first of a late brace after 79 minutes, before the 27-year-old headed in with eight minutes remaining to round off a satisfying win for Tranmere.
