Brillaint catch from Verma. The teammates didn't know whether to celebrate with Verma or Gaud. They were running all over the place.

    Bell c Shafali b Gaud 3 (Eng 162-9)

Kranti Gaud has her fifth wicket - she will be the first woman on the Test honours board at Lord's!

It's a brilliant catch from Shafali Verma, snatching the ball with one hand and keeping it off the turf after Lauren Bell's edge had rebounded off Sneh Rana's chest in the slips.

The seamer holds the ball aloft, she has figures of 5-33 thus far.

Should we have maybe 3x 4-day games for intra-England squad spread throughout season? In aim to refine skills in match situations, these players most definitely have the quality to achieve consistent wins

    Matthew, Kuala Lumpur

You cannot blame the players completely. The authorities, in both men's and women's have pushed 50 then 20 overs, then finally the Hundred. Glitzy, but it's like asking a sprinter to run a marathon - ludicrous.

    Runs!

After 29 balls without scoring, Lauren Bell gets England going again.

She edges past slip for three off Sneh Rana's first delivery, but Issy Wong can't score off the rest of the over.

The players will take drinks - England have scored 25 runs off 15 overs since lunch, losing three wickets.

Make that four maidens in a row, back to Sayali Satghare to Issy Wong.

Not the most thrilling times at the moment, but at least I can easily copy and paste the title of each entry.

She can't winkle out Lauren Bell on this occasion.

Successive maidens for India, with Sayali Satghare keeping Issy Wong quiet.

England haven't a clue how to play this form of cricket. Another 16-0 coming in next year's Ashes.

Sneh Rana is getting great returns with her biggest spinning deliveries. Both of her wickets today have been with balls turning in excess of 3º, with the one that dismissed Ecclestone turning the most.

Sneh Rana has bowled 11 deliveries today that have turned more than 3º, and taken two wickets for seven runs.

Lauren Bell comes out at number 10 and faces four dot balls from Sneh Rana.

England's Mady Villiers is bowled out by India's Sneh Rana during day two of the first Women's Rothesay Test at Lord's Cricket GroundImage source, PA Media

A slow and loopy delivery from Rana which gave it the chance to spin. It was ripping through the gate but it certainly moved through the gate and hit the middle stump. It was no where near where she thought it would have been and she was a mile off.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 50.2 overs

    Villiers b Rana 10 (Eng 159-8)

Another bowling change, another wicket with the second ball.

Sneh Rana replaces Deepti Sharma and the off-spinner takes out Mady Villiers, who was looking to strike towards mid-on, bowling the all-rounder through the gate.

That was pretty reminiscent of Villers' dismissal of Harmanpreet Kaur in the first innings.

Issy Wong comes to the crease and plays out the rest of Sayali Satghare's over without scoring.

This is the first time she's batted in Tests - she didn't get to do so in her previous appearance against South Africa.

England batter Sophie Ecclestone is dismissed by Sayali SatghareImage source, Getty Images

It is a very quick walk off from Sophie Ecclestone because the keeper didn't react with a celebration. Nice bowling and maybe Ecclestone was feeling confident after her last ball. England are in trouble now.

  19. wicket

    Ecclestone c Bhatia b Satghare 11 (Eng 159-7)

    Four and out.

Sayali Satghare replaces Kranti Gaud and she has a wicket with her second ball.

Sophie Ecclestone drives an opening loosener to the cover boundary, but Ecclestone offers an edge to the next delivery and Yastika Bhatia dives forward to complete the catch.

  20. Eng 155-6published at 49 overs

All very steady going at moment, singles here and there.

Three from this Deepti Sharma over, in fact - the spinner has figures of 0-10 from seven overs with two maidens.
