Kranti Gaud is the first women to take a Test five-for at Lord’s, etching her name on the famous honours board with figures of 5-37 from 17 overs.

Here's the damage she did to Alice Capsey's off stump - the third of her five wickets - and her celebrating her five-for.

However, Amy Jones edged a catch to Richa Ghosh at short leg on the stroke of lunch.

And the departure of captain Sciver-Brunt, out for 44 (85), inside two overs in the afternoon session was the final straw.

England were bowled out for 170, losing the final six wickets for 39 runs, and trailing India by 115 runs.

Kranti Gaud took 5-37, with Sayali Satghare (2-40), Sneh Rana (2-41), and Deepti Sharma (1-10) sharing the remaining wickets.

'India well on top here now' - Bouchier and Knight go early on day two

It’s been a disappointing second day for England at Lord’s.

Resuming on 22-1 in pursuit of India’s 285, England lost three wickets in the opening half hour to slump to 47-4.

In the space of four balls, Maia Bouchier edged behind to Yastika Bhatia and Heather Knight was trapped lbw. Alice Capsey was then brilliantly bowled by Kranti Gaud.

Thanks Mike. Hello again everyone. It's all been a bit deflating, hasn't it?

My apologies to all the England fans following along but we're going to recap day two so far.

  10. Tea - Ind 30-0published at 6 overs

    Lead by 145

    Runs before the interval!

Sophie Ecclestone comes on for an over before tea, and Shafali Verma cracks her second ball through long-off for a one-bounce four.

Ecclestone then sends a delivery down the leg side that breaks away for four byes, before Verma drives nicely through the covers for a further boundary.

That'll be tea, here's Elizabeth Botcherby to take you through the next passage of the day.

She let the quick outfield do the talking. What a shot from Verma.

  12. Ind 17-0published at 5 overs

A touch over-pitched from Lauren Bell and Shafali Verma tucks in, sending the ball through the covers for four.

Verma then punches a ball back down the pitch and strikes the England seamer on the boot - Bell hobbles a bit but she's smiling and we won't have a break.

    Boundaries for Smriti Mandhana!

She slams Lauren Filer's second ball through mid-wicket then pulls the final delivery of the over powerfully to the ropes at square leg.

    Lead by 119

India's second run is also a bye, off the leg this time as Lauren Bell clips Shafali Verma.

Two more come off the bat and the openers each take singles at the end of the over.

  15. Ind 1-0published at 2 overs

India get off the mark as Lauren Filer's delivery dies on Amy Jones and breaks through for a bye.

Another maiden, although I imagine Jones and the wicketkeeper's union will argue it shouldn't be.

  16. Ind 0-0published at 1 over

A opening maiden from Lauren Bell to Smriti Mandhana.

There were only four in India's first innings, so that's a crumb of comfort for England.

  17. Postpublished at 15:16 BST

Not much of a break - the players are back out with about 25 minutes until tea.

Smriti Mandhana will face the first ball from Lauren Bell.

Is there a little but of a World Cup hangover for England women it wouldn't surprise me, India had an extra four days post their break. They only had two days to prepare for this test match, England haven't been at their best today and they are loosing consistent wickets.

The thing that frustrates me is their bowling, we have a world-class bowler with Lauren Bell.
