  1. 'That wicket will divide opinion'published at 17:09 BST

    Hants 187-3 v Notts 102-3

    Carlos Brathwaite
Former West Indies all-rounder on BBC Sports Extra

That wicket [of Jack Haynes] will divide opinion.

On the one hand you are thinking it’s the last ball of spin can you go big but there is another school of thought that says it’s the last ball of spin, you have won the over already and partnerships win you the game.

Do you just get a single and live to fight another day and let the partnership continue to blossom?

He's gone for a big over and thought can we make it as big as possible and blow the game out of the water with another six.

  2. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 102-2 (require 86 runs from 42 balls)

Two new batters at the crease now for Notts. That's exactly what Hampshire would have wanted.

Was that the match-winning over by James Fuller? Just two runs from it and the massive wicket of Joe Clarke.

  4. 'Notts in a large amount of trouble'published at 17:08 BST

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 102-3

    Charlie Harden
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Joe Clarke needed to be there at the end if Notts were going to have a good chance of going on to win this game and with that dismissal Notts are in a large amount of trouble.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.4 overs

    Clarke c Currie b Fuller 64 (Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 102-3)

Now that is the BIG wicket!

Joe Clarke was really starting to motor along for Notts and you feel like he was their best chance of a successful chase.

But he skies one from James Fuller and Scott Currie takes the catch on the leg-side boundary.

  6. 'Hampshire have been waiting for that'published at 17:04 BST

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 100-2

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Tristan Stubbs settled himself. He waited and waited and it's Jack Haynes that goes for 25.

Hampshire have been waiting for that to just try and break that momentum.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12 overs

    Haynes c Stubbs b Dawson 25 (Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 100-2)

A big breakthrough for Hampshire to break this partnership.

Jack Haynes sends it high into the Birmingham sky from Liam Dawson and once it returns with snow on it, Tristan Stubbs is underneath it to make the catch in the deep.

Haynes and Joe Clarke put on 85 for the second wicket.

  8. 100 runs

100 up for Nottspublished at 11.5 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 100-1 (require 96 runs from 49 balls)

Notts are having a really good go at this and Joe Clarke in particular. He backs away from Liam Dawson's spin to create room and cuts away for four before picking up a single.

Jack Haynes keeps things ticking with another one through the off-side.

Clarke then sends an absolutely huge six over wide mid-wicket and into a construction site. That's massive.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Clarkepublished at 11 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 87-1 (require 101 from 54 balls)

A bit of a lucky four for Joe Clarke off Scott Currie but they all count and Notts will not care one bit.

Clarke is bamboozled by the slower ball and top edges high over the wicketkeeper and away for four.

He then picks up a single to bring up his 50 from 35 balls.

  10. 6 runs

    for Haynespublished at 10 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 78-1 (require 110 from 60 balls)

Jack Haynes goes for the aerial route off Liam Dawson. Has it got enough legs on it? Just about and that's six more to the total.

Scott Currie tries to make the catch but it's already just over the rope.

A few more singles to go with the maximum and that brings us to the halfway stage of the chase.

Now Notts need 110 to win from 60 balls.

  11. 'Couple of big overs and Notts are in this'published at 16:53 BST

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 69-1

    Colin Fray
    BBC Radio Nottingham

I was just thinking, a couple of big overs from Notts and they're right in this match, and there we are with 10 from Joe Clarke off two big hits.

  12. 6 runs

    for Clarkepublished at 9 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 69-1

James Fuller's first over of the day for Hampshire and his second ball is dispatched for six over long-off by Joe Clarke.

Different line for the next ball but it's still another boundary as Clarke slams down the ground for four more. He then picks up a single.

Jack Haynes screams for two as he pushes to mid-off but it'll just be one. Clarke connects nicely with the final ball of the over but it's cut off for just one.

That's a good over for Notts with 13 from it.

  13. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 56-1

Hampshire are going with more spin and Tristan Stubbs is on to bowl just his sixth over of the entire T20 Blast competition this season.

Three singles for Joe Clarke and two for Jack Haynes. Just the five from it. Not too bad at all for Stubbs and Hants.

  14. 50 runs

50 up for Nottspublished at 7 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 51-1

Liam Dawson is into the bowling attack with some left-arm spin for Hampshire and Joe Clarke goes after him, smashing down the ground for a big straight six.

Clarke pushes for a single to point to move onto 27 from 21 balls.

Jack Haynes then perfectly places a lofted cover drive to pick the gap in the field and it runs away for four.

Single to end the over and that's the 50 up for Notts.

  15. 'Hampshire can be more defensive'published at 16:45 BST

    Hants 187-3 v Notts 37-1

    Charlie Harden
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Now Hampshire can be more defensive and they've got Notts in a position where 37-1 from six, and again they're not ahead of the rate, but it just gives Hampshire the ability now to bring on the spinners.

  16. 'Lot of pressure on Notts'published at 16:44 BST

    Hants 187-3 v Notts 37-1

    Emilio Gay
England and Durham batter on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Hampshire would have definitely taken this start had you offered it to them at 35-1 after five overs.

There is only one wicket down but it is such a big score to chase, keeping that run rate up puts a lot of pressure on.

  17. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 37-1

Four dots and just the one single from the first five balls of Scott Currie's over before Joe Clarke skies one high over extra cover.

It lands safely though and Notts can pick up two.

Final over of the powerplay ends and you'd say it's advantage Hampshire at this early stage of the Notts run chase.

  18. Postpublished at 5.1 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 34-1

Hampshire were 46-1 at this stage of their innings, so Notts are slightly behind as things stand.

  19. Postpublished at 5 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 34-1

Joe Clarke is trying to get on with it a little bit more to avoid scoreboard pressure building too quickly.

He smashes one down the ground over the head of Chris Wood for four. Probably the first time Wood's length has strayed slightly too full.

A certain boundary is then denied in the covers by Ben Mayes to prevent Clarke's middled drive.

No-one is stopping that last ball though as Clarke absolutely hammers it at lightning speed to the point boundary for four.

  20. Postpublished at 4 overs

    Hampshire 187-3 v Notts 23-1

That will help relieve some pressure, at least for now for Notts. Joe Clarke is quickly onto the half-volley from Sonny Baker and punches down the ground for four before taking a single.

Jack Haynes then keeps things moving with a single of his own. Clarke takes a big swing and miss to end the over.

Baker is bowling fast here - around the 88-89mph mark.
