A very timely win for Harper, beaten by Caroline Dubois in her last outing. This win shows she is still an elite level fighter.

Her road back from the Dubois loss is started with a great big first step.

A shock for me. They were staring at each other, and it seemed to get more intense.

I couldn't get in between them. He [Moses Itauma] just pushed him. Off he [Filip Hrgovic] went off the stage. I don't want that.

God forbid anything happened then we have got no fight. There's so much on the line for both these guys, one wants to be the first heavyweight champion from Croatia.

Moses, the youngest ever British world champion if he comes through.

There's been a lot of talking in the week. I have noticed Filip [Hrgovic] trying to get the mental edge.

It all got a bit heated at yesterday's weigh-in, didn't it?

Moses Itauma, weighed 17st 4lb (110kg), with Filip Hrgovic coming in lighter at 16st 12lb (107kg).

But it was Itauma who seemed to lose his cool when he pushed Hrgovic off the stage, causing the Croatian to slap the youngster.

We don't mind a bit of added spice, do we?

There may have been a push and a slap at the Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgovic weigh-in yesterday but there was also an intense face-off between Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron in Birmingham.

The pair butt heads after they both stepped on the scales at the BP Pulse Arena and exchanged verbals in what was feisty face-off.

"She isn't intimidating me," Cameron said after security stepped in. "All that yapping and getting in my face - just watch tomorrow."

American star Mayer hit back by saying Brit Cameron will be "too slow" in the unified light-middleweight title clash.

"That's in your head, you're deluded. Shut your mouth, you're so deluded and you're making things up because you don't believe in yourself," Cameron responded.

"You're going to get humbled."

As lovers of boxing, we can sometimes live in a little bubble.

There is no doubt Moses Itauma can become a global superstar. He is incredibly talented and exciting. His face has been plastered across billboard and London buses this week, but there is still plenty of work to do when it comes to his exposure.

Does the average person walking down the street know who he is yet? He has not hit the mainstream in the way Anthony Joshua had when he fought for his first world title - although AJ was an Olympic gold medallist.

It takes time to build a profile but tonight is a huge step on Itauma's path to superstardom.

In Filip Hrgovic, Moses Itauma faces his toughest test in a boxing ring.

El Animal has 20 wins from 21 fights - his sole defeat came against Daniel Dubois in June 2024 due to a bad cut.

Hrgovic has since gone on to fight three Brits - Joe Joyce, David Adeleye and David Allen - and won them all.

Hrgovic right now is possibly the best fighter for him to face. On paper it's a test but I don't think it will be a test. I don't think Moses will be under any form of pressure in a fight like this.

I think it's going to be one of Moses' easiest nights of his career and he'll win a world title.

Prediction - Itauma

Filip Hrgovic is durable and has never been stopped as a professional.

His only defeat, against Daniel Dubois, ended because of cuts.

He is susceptible to them, and plenty of former fighters and pundits believe he could get cut again if Moses Itauma lands a barrage of punches.

If Itauma can drop and stop Hrgovic, though, that would be a real statement.

Now then, here's a question for you...

Is Moses Itauma currently Britain's best young sportsman? If you don't think so, then who is?

I'd say Luke Littler has a great shout.

One of the unanswered questions is what is his chin like?

He has blown everyone else away up to now. I think he will be tested tonight.

Paul himself headlined on 29 August 2021, beating MMA fighter Tyron Woodley, but is in a watching brief tonight.

I was alerted to Paul's presence by about 50 children charging the barrier to the VIP area, all wanting pictures with the YouTuber.

Moses Itauma v Filip Hrgovic was already a massive fight but it got a whole lot bigger when the vacant IBF heavyweight title was thrown into the mix.

It came as a shock when undisputed king Oleksandr Usyk decided to vacate his world titles but it breathes new life into the division.

And it also gives Itauma and Hrgovic the chance to become champion of the world.

What a night we're in store for.
