Richard is joined by Ian Smith and John Dankworth to discuss the contribution that composer and pianist Billy Strayhorn, whose pieces include Lush Life and Take the A Train, made to Duke Ellington's work. Would Ellington's reputation have been so great without him and why did Strayhorn's name never become so prominent as the Duke's?
