Continuing this special series of highlights from last summer's Proms.

Louise Fryer presents a selection of music that reflects last year's Proms nautical theme, Wagner's musical depiction of a storm-tossed sea provides a tempestuous contrast with the sunrise opening of Strauss' tone poem. Pianist Emanuel Ax joined the visiting Zurich orchestra in Beethoven's grandiose and lyrical concerto.
