Radio 2's secret gig performer Jon Boden of Bellowhead and the Cambridge crowds. Hints about the gig were spread via a text club in the run up to the festival.Jon warms up backstage ahead of his surprise appearance.Radio 2's video team attach a microphone to Jon to record the moment.Despite the huge warning sign behind him......Jon's soon out in the heart of the festival to get in amongst the crowds!Despite the gig being hours before the day officially begins, plenty of fans had turned out to catch a glimpse of the Bellowhead frontman.A young fan looks on.One of the text messages told fans to bring along their instruments, to create a huge interactive event.An 8-year old folk fan was one of the first to arrive and promptly plant himself at performer Jon's feet!Jon entertained the crowds with a selection of well known folk tunes.Radio 2's folk show presenter Mike Harding was in the crowd to support, and take pictures of course!
