Trump announces deal for Russian diesel as Zelensky calls it a gift to Putin

Trump said Putin had agreed to release 300,000 tonnes of diesel immediately "to the American and global marketplace" followed by 500,000 tonnes in November.

President Trump says he's made a deal with Vladimir Putin that involves suspending US sanctions on Russian diesel to try to bring down energy costs.

Also, we hear from the daughter of Anna Politkovskaya, 20 years on from the murder of a journalist who foretold the future of Russian life.
