
Kenyan wins Africa Prize for Engineering
Norah Magero won the Royal Academy of Engineering Prize for her portable vaccine fridge.
Norah Magero becomes the first Kenyan to win the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Africa Prize for Innovation. The award is for her invention of a small, mobile, solar-powered fridge that safely stores and transports vaccines to remote areas.
Rwanda says it is 'not deterred' after the UK flight scheduled to deport asylum-seekers to the East African country was cancelled.
And Ghanaian culture and tradition have been on display in London for the Ghana Royal Durbar, which brought together state officials, traditional leaders and people from the West African country in a festival of celebration.
