A case of wild polio is discovered in Mozambique
Mozambique has confirmed a case of wild polio, the first in the country for 30 years.
Mozambique has declared an outbreak of wild polio after a young child was diagnosed with the disease in the country’s north-eastern Tete province.
South Sudan says it is sending its army to the disputed oil-rich Abyei region, along the border with Sudan, following the latest ethnic clashes.
