Sierra Leone tanker explosion: Mass burial in Freetown

They will be buried in the same cemetery as victims of the 2017 landslide.

Some of those killed in Friday's massive fuel tanker explosion in Sierra Leone are being buried in a mass ceremony shortly, officials say. More bodies have been recovered from a mine collapse in southern Niger that happened on Sunday night - bringing the total number of deaths to 32, a regional MP has told the BBC. Nigeria's former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has quashed rumours that he was not welcome in Ethiopia as a mediator in the crisis there.
