‘Fix The Country’ protesters take to the streets in Ghana

Thousands of protesters have demonstrated against Ghana’s government, taking to the streets under the slogan ‘Fix The Country’.

Several thousand protesters have marched through Ghana’s capital Accra, with demonstrations taking place under the slogan ‘Fix The Country’. President Nana Akufo-Addo's government has introduced new taxes and increased fuel prices, while many people are struggling economically.

Plus, a Medecins Sans Frontieres spokesperson talks to us as the NGO pulls most of its staff out of Cameroon’s North-West region, after failing to reach an agreement to end a suspension of activities imposed by the government.

And we meet the Senegalese entrepreneur who set up a baby food company, to help make the country less dependent on western imports.
