Chad deploys troops to quell violence at Sahel border Zone

Around 1,200 Chadian troops will be deployed to the border zone between Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso to quell violent clashes.

Patrice-Edouard Ngaissona and Alfred Yekatom who are accused of leading militias in the Central African Republic plead not guilty at their trial in The Hague. The alleged crimes took place during the conflict in 2013.
