Kate Flitcroft

Kate is an Auctioneer and Business Development Director for Jewellery at Bonhams, based in their flagship New Bond Street saleroom in London.

Dream find:	My dream find is a silver-gilt or gold mounted hardstone cup carved by the Miseroni family. Or wouldn't it be amazing to discover an unrecorded Mughal jewel? Fingers crossed!

Kate holds BA in Architecture from Washington University in St Louis, USA, and an MLitt in History of Art from the University of Glasgow/Christie's Education. She worked for ten years at Christie’s in London, becoming a Specialist, Associate Director and an auctioneer.

She then moved to Lyon & Turnbull in 2017 before joining Bonhams in 2021. Kate is also an award-winning charity auctioneer and a trustee of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.

When she's not looking through a loupe, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dog.
