A cancer diagnosis inspired a 78-year-old to walk from one side of England to the other.
After being diagnosed with bladder and kidney cancer, 78-year-old John Parry took to social media to tell his story.
Before he knew it, that led to him walking from one side of England to the other to raise thousands of pounds for cancer charities.
John is one of the finalists for the BBC Essex Make A Difference Awards.
