Make a Difference

Every day the BBC radio station where you live, is helping bring communities closer together to make a difference.

Make a Difference Day is your chance to be part of something positive. Whether you have an hour to spare or the whole day, volunteering is a simple but powerful way to support your local community, learn new skills and meet new people.

From helping neighbours in need to supporting charities doing vital work, every action counts. If you’ve never volunteered before – or it’s been a while – this is the perfect moment to get involved and see the difference you can make. Find an opportunity below that interests you, and take that first step toward making a real impact.

Our Make A Difference Day is on Friday 5th June.  Listen to you local BBC Radio Station for inspiring stories and suggestions about how you can get involved in your local community.
