Ben Sheppard hears inspiring stories from runners of all abilities as they share their favourite routes around Wales, exploring the growing popularity of running and the benefits it can bring to both physical and mental health. Ben joins Helen Ryvar in her local village of Llay in Wrexham. To combat poor mental health as a result of a challenging marriage, Helen took up running and did 1,000 consecutive half marathons starting each day from her local supermarket. She broke the world record, all while being a single mum of three with a full time job. Helen opens up about the highs and lows and the mindset she needed to reach such an extraordinary milestone.
