Monitoring the Welsh Coast

Ali Kedge finds out how this small research centre is gathering and delivering crucial coastal information in a variety of ways and takes a different look at the Welsh coastline.

The Wales Coastal Monitoring Centre was set up in 2019. Based in the Vale of Glamorgan and funded by the Welsh Government, their research not only informs government, local councils and risk managers it also educates the public and perhaps most importantly, educates children about the coast and our changing coastline
