The Surgery's Aled Haydn Jones hosts a one-stop shop for advice this summer on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra.

As young people all over Britain are gearing up for their first festival experience, their first trip abroad with friends, getting their first summer job or simply embarking on their first summer of discovery, The Summer Surgery is there to give advice on all of the subjects that are important at this time of year – sex, drugs, alcohol, body image, jobs, money and travel.

From Sunday 25 July to Thursday 29 August, Aled hosts a Live Surgery every night between 9pm and 10pm, which will be simulcast on both networks. Each evening Aled and resident Surgery expert, Dr Mel and guests, will be getting hands-on with the burning issues that are heightened during the summer months.

The Surgery with Aled on Sunday 1 August on BBC Radio 1 will look back at this week's highlights.

Sir Terry Wogan

Sir Terry Wogan welcomes national treasure Tony Christie and American singer-songwriter Gretchen Peters to the BBC Radio Theatre in London for this week's edition of Weekend Wogan.

Gretchen performs live and the Elio Pace Houseband return with more live music, while John "Boggy" Marsh drops by to join in with the witty discussion.

Brian D'Arcy marks the feast of St James with hymns and reflection in this week's Sunday Half Hour.

St James is the patron saint of Spain and one of Jesus's disciples who, according to folklore, became the first bishop of Jerusalem.

Hymns this week include Come Down O Love Divine, Father Lord Of All Creation and And Can It Be. This week's featured choir is the William Harris Singers, directed by Richard Pugsley, the organist is David Geoffrey Thomas.

The programme also features highlights from yesterday's set by the Paris-based Orchestre National de Barbes.

Schumann's lyrical Piano Concerto in A minor continues the season's bicentenary celebrations of the composer's birth. The BBC Philharmonic is joined by acclaimed pianist Christian Zacharias, who is fascinated by Schumann's music.

The concert opens with Schumann's Overture, Scherzo and Finale, Op 52 and, after the interval, the spirit of the traditional BBC Proms Viennese night is revived with a variety of classics from the Strauss family.

This Prom will be repeated on BBC Radio 3 on Wednesday 28 July at 2pm.

One of the UK's most respected electronic producers, Four Tet, aka producer and DJ Keiran Hebden, takes over BBC 6 Music for his first 6 Mix since 2008.

Keiran started making music with post-rock band Fridge back in the mid-Nineties, before putting out his first music as Four Tet in 1998. Since then he's released a number of critically acclaimed albums, collaborated with Burial and late jazz legend Steve Reid, as well as remixing the likes of Aphex Twin and Radiohead. He released his critically acclaimed new album, There Is Love In You, in January this year, and releases a new single Angel Echoes featuring remixes from Caribou among others.

Four Tet has also been busy on the summer festival circuit, playing Glastonbury and T In The Park, with shows lined up for the Reading/Leeds Festival and Bestival for August and September.

In his latest 6 Mix, he plays music which has inspired him from James Holden and Roberto Donnini alongside current favourites from Luke Abbot and Rocketnumbernine.
