FACTS
Nottingham's Council House was completed in 1929.

The Council House has an inbuilt vacuum cleaner.

Each coat of arms is meant to be distinctive yet Nottingham's coat of arms is the same as that of Colchester and Cologne.

The Sheriff's room is also known as the Royal Drawing Room and used to be the Lady Mayoress's room.


This is the room that is used by members of the Royal Family when they are in Nottingham.

he walls, fireplace and furniture of the Sheriff's room (on the second floor) are in the Adam style, with soft greens and gilt.
