Step up and be part of the biggest dance ever seen Best foot forward for auditions in Blackpool and Edinburgh Blackpool and Edinburgh were the venues at the end of June for masterclasses and auditions conducted under the beady eye of Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke.
Hundreds took up the invite to face the music and dance, flocking to the two locations and hoping to be picked as one of the London finalists.
Our cameras went along too to give you a flavour of the day.
Blackpool gets ready to dance...  I've never done ballroom before so it was a matter of picking it up as I went along. At all the turns I ended up on the wrong side and everyone else was waltzing off down the room... ... and Edinburgh shows what it's made of  I hadn't danced in a wee while but I'm really fit now and I came along to get a dance with Anton Du Beke.
