Find out who will be playing Dobby in the new Harry Potter TV series

Calling all Harry Potter fans! There's not long to go until the new TV series adaptation of the classic books arrives on our screens.

But, we're already getting a look at who will be joining the cast of series two.

British actor Lenny Rush will play Dobby, the loyal house-elf known for his determination to help his friends.

Other key characters from the second book, Chamber of Secrets, have also been cast, including Tom Riddle and Ginny Weasley.

Lenny will feature as the troublesome house-elf who warns Harry Potter not to return to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry for his second year.

The actor is best known for appearing in the CBBC drama Dodger and The Dumping Ground, as well as the CBeebies series Apple Tree House and the documentary Our Family.

Award-winning actor Billy Barratt is also joining series two, and will play Tom Riddle - the younger version of evil wizard Lord Voldemort.

Other new arrivals include Bonnie Hill, who will take over the role of Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister.

The announcement comes after a new trailer for the first series was released earlier this week.

It showed Harry Potter trying out the sorting hat and playing Quidditch for the first time.

The new series will cover events from the first book 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', and will launch this Christmas.

The show will span all seven of the original books, and is due to take around 10 years to complete.
