Superstar players challenge for men's Ballon D'Or prize

The award for the best men's footballer in the world is up for grabs.
The Ballon D'Or (or golden ball) award is voted for by journalists around the world and is one of the biggest individual prizes out there.
This year, plenty of big names from the World Cup and the Premier League have made the list, as well as some legends of the sport.
The nominees include Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal and the result will be announced on 26 October.
So let's see who else got a mention... and who didn't.

Premier League stars make the list
Fernandes and Haaland make the list... but one big name is missing
Premier League champions Arsenal are well represented with Gabriel, Declan Rice and William Saliba in the mix.
For Manchester's clubs, United skipper Bruno Fernandes and City's goal machine Erling Haaland make the list.
Back-to-back Champions League winners Paris St-Germain have nine players nominated, including last year's winner Ousmane Dembele, and seven more come from Spanish teams Barcelona and Real Madrid.
And as for true legends, Lionel Messi is nominated, but his big rival Cristiano Ronaldo is not!
