Grab your sun hats and water bottles, because it is officially the hottest Bank Holiday ever recorded in parts of the UK.

On Monday, the UK recorded its all-time highest May temperature, as parts of London reached 34.8C.

And Wales also experienced its hottest May day, reaching 32.2C in Flintshire.

Forecasters say Tuesday could bring even warmer air, meaning that temperature records could be broken again in some parts of the country.

So, we want to know what you are doing to stay cool and how you have been having fun in the sun.

What will you be doing to stay cool in the sun?

Whilst lots of us will be searching for the shade, the weather will be very different across the UK.

An amber heat-health alert is in place for much of England, including the West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, the South East, and London.

Whereas the North East, North West, South West, Yorkshire and Humber regions are all under a yellow heat-health alert.

This means that the elderly and people with certain health conditions should be extra careful in the hot weather.

Temperatures reached 25.5C in the Scottish Borders and 25.8C in County Fermanagh respectively.

So, what are you doing in the sun? Are you planning ice cream and paddling pools, or maybe a trip to the park or the seaside?
