Drone footage reveals former Southampton Ford Transit factory

Three years have passed since the Ford Transit factory closed in Southampton with a loss of about 500 jobs.

Drone footage filmed by the BBC has revealed how much of the site has now been demolished.

Its new owner Mountpark is seeking planning permission to turn the land into a manufacturing centre.

Southampton City Council says its future use will create hundreds of jobs and could raise £1m a year in business rates.
